It is obvious that America has become a nation of individuals who want immediate satisfaction and short-term “solutions.” A perfect example is our current financial crisis-a crisis caused by the easy money policy of The Federal Reserve System. And what is amazing is that the vast majority of the people have supported this shortsighted inflationary scam.

Apparently, very few have the ability to see that artificially low interest rates and fiat money cause economic catastrophes.

Demolishing the myths of existence

There are basically two ways of looking at your existence. One is from the point of view of you as an individual. The other is from the belief that you are a part of a whole or what is called the collective.

Unfortunately there has been a sharp dividing line drawn between the two. First you have the stereotype of the rugged individualist who stops at nothing to rise to the top–stepping on anyone or anything that gets in his way. This is largely a myth. After all, how could you possibly accomplish anything without the cooperation of others?

Praxeology - The Science of Human Action

Praxeology (Human Action) is the study of individuals and their actions. Unfortunately, the term and the science are pretty much unknown. The reason for this is that the enemies of liberty and freedom would prefer that you didn\’t learn anything about it. If you understood the laws of human action you would demand an end to the disastrous policies that absolute moralists and other enemies of the individual have foisted upon \”society.\”
